Under the directions of Hon’ble Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) endorsed by Member Secretary, J&K Legal Service regarding holding of National Lok Adalats throughout India in the year 2023 on specified dates, District Legal Services Authority Baramulla in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Committees of District Baramulla is going to hold 4th National Lok Adalat of the year 2023 at District Court Complex Baramulla as well as Tehsil headquarters on 09-12-2023 for the following types of cases (pre-Litigation and post Litigation Cases).
Pre -Litigation
1 NI Act cases under Section 138.
2 Bank Recovery matters.
3 Labour disputes cases.
4 Electricity and Water bills (excluding non-Compoundable).
5 Other (Criminal Compoundable, Matrimonial and other civil disputes).
Pending in Courts
1 Criminal Compoundable offence.
2 NI Act cases under Section 138.
3 Bank Recovery matters.
4 MACT cases.
5 Labour disputes cases.
6 Electricity and Water bills (excluding non-Compoundable).
7 Matrimonial cases.
8 Land Acquisition cases.
9 Other civil cases (rent, easementary rights, injunctions suit, specific performance suit) etc.
Therefore, it is notified that all concerned parties /advocates who desire to gettheir cases/ disputes/claims settled through this National Lok Adalat may approach District Legal Services Authority Baramulla/ Concerned Tehsil Legal Services Committees by or before 01/12/2023, so that their cases/claims/disputes can be settled amicably through this National Lok Adalat.
